Natural products to combat fatigue

Most of us don’t get the right amount of sleep. With the hectic schedules of our day-to-day lives and the stresses we carry with us, REM sleep can often elude us all and feeling fatigued doesn’t help us function during the day. But, if you’re feeling fatigued due to lack of sleep or a variety of other conditions, there are plenty of natural remedies that can help increase your energy levels and keep you going through the day.

Liquid collagen

In one handy supplement, a dose of liquid collagen in the morning could be the thing to banish fatigue for good. Collagen is a protein that’s naturally produced by the body, but people who find themselves with chronic fatigue are particularly prone to losing this protein. An additional supplement a day can help support the regular function of your body’s key organs, ensuring your energy levels stay up throughout the day as your body does its thing.

Bananas

Naturally high in potassium and natural sugars, bananas are a slow-release energy source designed to help keep your energy levels up and reduce fatigue at moments in the day when your blood sugar is at its lowest. Have a banana as a snack with some peanut butter mid-morning or mid-afternoon for a healthier alternative to salty or sugary treats. Or, if you want a consistent release of energy, try it on porridge or cereal in the morning.

Vitamin B12

Perhaps the most important B Vitamin, B12 specifically targets the body’s metabolism, helping it to digest core proteins and transform them into energy. Studies have shown that fatigue could be one of the signs of a B12 deficiency. The vitamin also helps the regular function of your brain and nervous system. If you’re looking to combat fatigue and tiredness, extra B12 in your diet or an additional supplement can help improve your energy levels over time.

With over 500 5-star reviews, Kollo Liquid Collagen is a premium supplement designed to help revitalise your skin, strengthen your hair and nails and provide a whole host of internal health benefits that can alleviate the symptoms of menopause, lift fatigue and help boost your mood. To start your journey to a better, healthier you.
